We offer our community a place where they can re-home creative items they no longer need and find surprising treasures to inspire new projects. We accept donations of clean, usable arts & crafts supplies and we help them find new homes - keeping them out of the waste stream while providing affordable, accessible art supplies to the north shore area of Boston, MA.
Creative Chaos Emporium was founded in summer 2025 by author/illustrator Sarah Lynne Reul, Stephanie Hannus & Janet Cohen. We began by collecting donations at local upcycled art-making events that we hosted throughout Fall 2025, and we collaborated with the Arts Collaborative of Wakefield on a winter holiday sale at the Albion Cultural Exchange.
Starting January 24, 2026, Creative Chaos Emporium is excited to be partnering with Project Pop-Up to host a brick & mortar storefront at 239 North Ave in Wakefield, Massachusetts!
We’ll be in the shop from January - September 2026 as part of the partnership, and we’re hoping connect lots of creators with a treasure trove of inspiring & sustainable materials.
As always, we’ll continue to collect donations during regular opening hours (Wednesday - Friday 12-6, Saturday & Sunday 10-6) as well as at special events - click beto learn more!
Creative Chaos Emporium is an affordable, sustainable secondhand source of arts & crafts supplies.
We’re part of a growing network of 200+ Creative Reuse Centers across the country working to make sure that usable arts & crafts supplies stay out of landfills - so that they can be made into cool new creations by makers like you!
